Privacy Policy

This site (charts.thehumandesignflow.com) computes Human Design and astrology charts from a birth date, time, and place that you enter. This policy describes exactly what we do with that information.

What you enter

To produce a chart, the form takes:

  • Birth date and time
  • Birth city (resolved to latitude, longitude, and timezone)
  • Optional chart configuration (zodiac, house system, sign style, etc.)

These values are placed in the page URL so that you can bookmark or share a reading. Anyone with a chart URL can reproduce the same reading. If you don't want a chart URL kept in your browser history, clear it or use a private window.

What we send, and where

When the form changes, your browser sends the chart request to our calculation API, which computes the chart and returns it. We do not save your birth data to any database and we do not link it to an identity or account. Birth data lives in the URL while you have the page open and in HTTP request payloads in transit; it is not persisted on our servers.

Location search

When you type a city name, the partial query is sent to our own location lookup endpoint, which matches against a self-hosted city database derived from public GeoNames data. No third-party geocoding provider receives your query.

Cookies and browser storage

This site does not set cookies, does not use localStorage or sessionStorage, and does not load any client-side analytics or advertising scripts.

Server-side logging

The chart API records minimal request metadata — route, HTTP method, status code, and duration — to our observability backend (PostHog). Your birth date, time, and location are not included in those logs. If the server encounters an error, the error report may include the route that failed and a stack trace, but not the birth values you entered.

Hosting and infrastructure

The site and its APIs are hosted on Cloudflare (Pages, Workers, D1) and on a private server. Cloudflare may process IP addresses and request metadata as part of normal traffic delivery and abuse prevention. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your choices

Because we don't store birth data, there is nothing for us to delete on our side. To remove a chart URL from your device, clear it through your browser's history settings.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the "Last updated" date above will change. Continued use of the site after that date means you accept the revised policy.
